Police at the spot As panic spread across the village, Bihar government minister Madan Sahni rushed to meet the affected families. Surrounded by anxious residents, the minister assured them that the police were under pressure to solve the case and arrest whoever was behind the chilling incidents. According to the latest victim, she woke up for just a few seconds to see a man dressed entirely in black carrying a bag before he vanished into the darkness. Moments later, she found her hair lying on the floor, household belongings scattered across the room and scissors left behind. She also claimed she felt unusually drowsy and suspected that some substance may have been used to keep her unconscious, although investigators are yet to confirm the claim.
Chopped hair What has made the mystery even more disturbing is the striking similarity between the two incidents. In both cases, the intruder allegedly entered homes without alerting anyone, targeted sleeping women, cut their hair, left valuables untouched, caused no physical injuries and escaped within moments. Both attacks also took place on Thursday nights, fuelling speculation that the same person may be behind the chilling pattern.
