पश्चिम बंगाल के उत्तर 24 परगना की जहां उस वक्त अफरातफरी मच गई जब न्यू टाटाउन इलाके में किराए पर दिए गए घर में अचानक से जोरदार धमाका हुआ। इसमें कई लोग घायल हो गए। धमाके का सीसीटीवी फुटेज भी सामने आया है। अचानक हुए धमाके से न्यू टाउन का राजहाट इलाका पूरी तरह से दहल गया और डर के मारे लोग घरों से बाहर निकल आए। धमाके में एक शख्स गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। बताया जा रहा है कि धमाका एक ग्राउंड फ्लोर के कमरे में हुआ था जिसे हाल ही में एक शख्स ने किराए पर लिया था।
धमाके के बाद किराएदार फरार हो गया। वहीं मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने दो लोगों को हिरासत में ले लिया है। साथ ही मौके से दो जिंदा देसी बम बरामद किए गए। आशंका जताई जा रही है कि कमरे का इस्तेमाल विस्फोटक सामग्री छिपाने के लिए किया जा रहा था। Panic gripped North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, when a powerful explosion suddenly rocked a rented house in the New Town area, injuring several people. Police arrived at the scene and detained two people. Two live crude bombs were also recovered. It is suspected that the room was being used to hide explosives.
