The Special Investigation Team probing the donation theft at the Ram Mandir is set to submit an interim report to the Supreme Court on Monday. Police have intensified the probe, examining 50 people involved in counting donations at the temple. CCTV footage provides key evidence against six of the eight arrested accused, showing them hiding cash bundles inside their clothes and shoes.
Meanwhile, the Nirmohi Akhara has moved the Supreme Court, alleging that the Centre failed to implement the 2019 Ayodhya verdict. The Akhara has sought a forensic audit of the trust's transactions, its restructuring, and the restoration of idols installed in 1950 and 1982.
