In its plea, the Akhara states that despite the passage of almost seven years, the implementation of the judgment has not materialized in its true letter and spirit. The plea alleges that some members of the private Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust may have indulged in corrupt acts, tarnishing the image of the place.
The Nirmohi Akhara is seeking the reconstitution of the trust as a public trust, appropriate representation and role for itself, guiding principles for appointing trustees, a forensic audit of all financial transactions, and the restoration of the original deities of Shri Ram Lalla.
