'Blood For Blood': Iran Puts Up Billboard Featuring Trump And His Family Published By, Last Updated: July 18, 2026, 20:29 IST Iran has unveiled a new 'Blood for Blood' billboard featuring Donald Trump and his family amid escalating tensions. Rapid Read Image shared on X Iran has put up a new billboard in central Tehran depicting US President Donald Trump and his family standing above coffins draped in the American flag, in the latest show of escalating tensions between Tehran and Washington. The giant banner features Trump alongside First Lady Melania Trump and his five children including Ivanka, Donald Jr, Eric, Tiffany and Barron Trump. A burning White House forms the backdrop, while the Persian slogan “Blood for Blood" is prominently displayed across the hoarding. The display marks the second public billboard targeting Trump in recent weeks. Another Billboard Showed Trump In A Coffin Earlier, authorities installed another large billboard in Tehran’s Enghelab Square showing Trump lying inside an open black coffin. The image portrayed the US President with his eyes closed, hands folded over a red tie resting on his chest, while his feet extended towards the end of the coffin. Iran has long used large public murals and billboards to communicate political and ideological messages.
Since the conflict involving US and Israeli forces intensified in late February, the country has installed several giant displays across Tehran carrying revolutionary imagery, war memorials and anti-US messages. According to reports, many of the murals displayed in Valiasr Square are designed by the Owj Arts and Media Organisation, which is linked to an organisation associated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Mojtaba Khamenei Vows Revenge The latest billboard comes days after Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei vowed retaliation for the assassination of his father, saying those responsible would not escape punishment. In a message posted on Telegram, Khamenei wrote, “This revenge is the demand of our nation, and it will most certainly be carried out." He also warned that those responsible “will take to their graves the unfulfilled wish of dying peacefully in their beds." His remarks echoed repeated calls from Iranian leaders and state media for retaliation following the assassination. Trump Issues Strong Warning To Iran Trump, meanwhile, responded with his own warning during an interview with the New York Post, saying he had already instructed US officials on how to respond if Iran were to assassinate him. “I’ve been on their list for a long time," Trump said. He added, “I’ve left instructions, if anything happens, to just literally bomb them at levels that they’ve never seen before." Trump has remained a key target for Iran since ordering the US drone strike that killed senior Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani.
