The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened a fresh application link for candidates who have qualified in UG-NEET for admission to medical courses but have not yet applied for UG-CET. The application window will remain open until July 24. A separate link will be provided soon for candidates who applied for the UG-CET earlier and are eligible after the NEET results to link their NEET roll number with the CET application.
However, those who have not yet applied can apply afresh now. H. Prasanna, Executive Director, KEA, said, “Seats will be allotted to these students considering their NEET exam rank for admission to courses including Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, and Homoeopathy courses. Non-Karnataka candidates may also register on the KEA portal and pay the fee.
They should also upload their Class XII marks card when registering on the KEA portal. They don’t have to come for document verification.” Clarifying who should come for document verification, Mr. Prasanna said, “Overseas Citizen of India, Person of Indian Origin, Non-Resident Indian, and foreign candidates, and if non-Karnataka candidates are eligible for religious minority or NRI ward seats or specific seats in St. John’s Medical College; such candidates should book a slot and come for document verification on the dates assigned by KEA.
The dates will be announced later.”
