Sharnbasveshwar Residential Composite PU College (SBR PU College), Kalaburagi, has recorded an impressive performance in the NEET-2026 examination, with Channabasava Koralli emerging as the college topper by scoring 685 out of 720 marks and securing AIR 190. Simran Banu secured the second position in the college with 657 marks and AIR 1001, while Rohit Rajkumar scored 642 marks and secured Category Rank (CAR) 57 at the national level.
According to the college, 14 students scored 600 marks or above, while 150 students secured more than 500 marks. The institution said that over 950 students had qualified for admission to medical colleges across the country. The college’s performance includes 11 students scoring between 575 and 599 marks, 22 between 550 and 574, 48 between 525 and 549, 57 between 500 and 524, 76 between 475 and 499, and 58 between 450 and 474 marks.
Congratulating the students, Dakshayani S. Appa, president of Sharnbasveshwar Vidyavardhak Sangha and chancellor of Sharnbasava University, said the achievers had upheld the institution’s academic tradition and would serve as role models for future aspirants. Devarakal attributed the excellent results to the combined efforts of the students, faculty and the institution’s management, stating that the college continued to maintain its strong record in competitive examinations such as NEET, JEE and KCET.
