The Telangana Drugs Control Administration (DCA) has seized medicines worth ₹18,000 from a premises at Chandrayangutta in Hyderabad, where drugs were allegedly being stocked and sold without a valid licence.
The raid was conducted on Friday (July 17) following credible information about the illegal sale of medicines. According to the DCA, during the raid, officials found that Aslam Bin Salam Bajaber was allegedly stocking and selling medicines without possessing a valid drug licence.
During the inspection, officials found 11 medicines, including antibiotics and other drugs, stocked for sale. The medicines, valued at around ₹18,000, were seized. Samples of
the seized medicines have been sent for analysis and further investigation is underway.
