Minister of MSME and NRI Affairs Kondapalli Srinivas inaugurated the Elegance Diabetic Foot and Ulcer Clinic on the Ring Road in Vizianagaram on Saturday (July 18, 2026). Speaking on the occasion, he stated that the availability of advanced technology and new surgical procedures would be a boon to patients suffering from diabetic foot and other related issues.
He congratulated plastic and cosmetic surgeon Muddada Sravani and reconstructive micro surgeon Palli Shirin for choosing Vizianagaram for the establishment of the first of its kind clinic in Andhra Pradesh. He stated that thousands of people were forced to lead lives riddled with difficulty due to the amputation of toes, feet, and legs after being affected by chronic diabetes.
He said that advanced technology would enable new patients to lead normal lives with treatment for the damaged body parts. Bobbili MLA Baby Nayana, former Deputy Speaker Kolagatla Veerabhadra Swamy, and others stated that the clinic would enable patients to receive treatment in Vizianagaram itself, eliminating the need to go to metro cities for care.
