Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital after fasting for around 20 days without solid food and experiencing general weakness. A medical bulletin said he was conscious and had stable pulse, blood pressure and oxygen saturation at the time of admission, but signs of dehydration were detected.
Doctors have also raised concern over his potassium levels and advised intravenous fluids. However, Wangchuk has reportedly refused IV fluids, oral rehydration and medication. The hospital said he remains under observation and that doctors
