A 24-year-old law student in Jaipur orchestrated the murder of her mother to secure a government job through compassionate appointment and acquire family property worth 14 crore rupees. The victim, a lower division clerk at the Rajasthan High Court, was fatally struck by a rented SUV on July 3rd in a staged road accident. Police investigation of CCTV footage revealed the collision was deliberate. The daughter conspired with her uncle and cousin, offering them a share of agricultural land on the Agra highway in exchange for hiring contract killers.
The suspects conducted surveillance on the victim before executing the crime. Following the daughter's arrest, relatives filed a new complaint urging police to investigate the recent death of her father. Relatives allege the father was also murdered for property and the government job. Authorities are currently searching for the absconding cousin and reviewing the circumstances surrounding the father's death to determine if it was a double murder.
