(Source: X) A 42-year-old Gandhinagar resident, reportedly struggling with unemployment and mounting financial difficulties, allegedly died by suicide at his home in the Kudasan area. Before taking the extreme step, he left a note outside the house alerting his family against entering the premises, apparently to shield them from potential danger. The note, written in English, read: “Celphos, Poison Gas, Wear Mask, No Water, Maanvi Outside." Authorities said a handwritten note was found pasted outside the main entrance of the house.
The message appeared to warn family members, particularly his young daughter, against entering the premises. The note reportedly cautioned anyone approaching the house not to enter, consume water from inside, or do so without wearing a mask, citing the presence of poison within the residence. The incident came to light in the Kudasan area, where the deceased, identified as Pankaj Surendrabhai Bhansali, was living at Poonam Residency. According to police officials, Bhansali had reportedly been struggling with financial stress for several months following the loss of his job and setbacks linked to stock market investments. Police personnel from Infocity Police Station reached the scene after the matter was reported and initiated the required legal procedures. A preliminary case of accidental death has been registered, while investigators continue to examine the circumstances leading to the incident.
Body Was Found After 5 Days According to officials, the man’s body remained inside the house for nearly five days before it was discovered. By the time authorities gained access to the residence, the body had undergone significant decomposition, making identification difficult. Investigators also noted that toxic fumes and the advanced state of decomposition had affected the condition of the body. Further forensic examination is expected to determine the exact cause of death. Suicide Prevention. News 18.
