Released by Bend Studio, is a zombie game set in the beautiful wilderness of Oregon, you play as Deacon St. John, a former biker, trying to survive in a new world ruled by zombies and crazy cult groups trying to kill you at every turn. You will soon see how zombies differ from other games as you play. In other zombie games, you’ll come across a few zombies here and there, but in this game, zombies roam in hordes. The zombie infestations are massive; they will force you to strategies your movements and find ways to eliminate the many hords in your way. As you roam through the many regions of Oregon on your trusty motorcycle, you will come across unique areas to explore and useful weapons that will help you wreak havoc on your way path through Oregon. You play as Kyle Crane an agent sent into the zombie-infested city called Harran tasked with finding a cure for a humanitarian organization. You start the game with virtually nothing and you will need to roam the map in search of loot that will help you craft numerous essential items that will help you survive. The game gives you the option of seventeen characters to choose from, each with their own outfit. You can craft gardens, traps, weapons, and shelters that will keep you safe from the elements and dangers of the night. The only thing is, every 7 days, hordes of zombies will spawn and will seek your death, and every seven days after, the zombies will progressively get stronger. Make sure to craft a shelter and hunker in, the zombies are coming! 

5. The Evil Within

Developed by Tango Gameworks and released in October 2014 by Bethesda Softworks, The Evil Within is a psychological zombie horror game that will leave you on the edge of your seat. You take control of Sebastian Castellanos, a detective who soon ventures into a world of horrors when he investigates a case at the Beacon Mental Hospital. To make it through, you will need to preserve your ammo since ammo is very scarce. As a result, you will need to strategically sneak your way around the many hellish ghouls lurking around the dark.
