Delhi: Tired Of Long Queues? Now Book Your Metro Ticket On The Rapido App

Delhi Metro just got more convenient! Commuters can now book their metro tickets directly through the Rapido app, thanks to a new partnership with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
Rapido’s Co-Founder, Aravind Sanka, announced this exciting update on Wednesday. He shared that the platform will also provide affordable rides to and from metro stations at a flat rate of just Rs 25.
“We’re thrilled to bring metro ticketing to the Rapido app through ONDC and DMRC. To celebrate, the first ride for every user booking their metro ticket through our app will be completely free," Sanka said, as per PTI.
Currently, over 8 lakh users ride with Rapido every day, with 40 Percent of them being women drivers—highlighting a strong push towards inclusivity. According to Sanka, around 1 lakh daily riders already use Rapido to reach metro stations. With this new feature, that number is expected to grow rapidly.
To make the commute even smoother, Rapido will also set up designated pick-up and drop-off zones at select Delhi Metro stations. This ensures a seamless experience for metro travellers looking for last-mile connectivity.
