U.S. medical device maker Align Tech plans ₹1,800 crore plant in Hyderabad

• Arizona, U.S.-headquartered medical device firm Align Technology plans to establish a manufacturing facility in Hyderabad with an investment of around ₹1,800 crore.
• It will be the company’s first manufacturing site in India and fourth globally.
• The project is expected to create more than 300 direct jobs over the next several years, Industries and IT Minister D.
• Sridhar Babu’s office said after an MoU, for the facility, was signed by Align’s Senior V-P Jitse Marree and Telangana Life Sciences CEO Sarvesh Singh.
• The Hyderabad facility is expected to commence operations in 2027. The company’s decision strengthens Telangana’s position as a leading global hub for advanced manufacturing and medtech innovation.
