In a major move aimed at bringing discipline and uniformity to campuses, Uttar Pradesh Governor and Chancellor of state universities Anandiben Patel has directed all higher education institutions in the state to strictly implement a uniform system for students.
The announcement was made during a review meeting held at the Raj Bhavan with officials from government-run and aided colleges affiliated with Jannayak Chandrashekhar University in Ballia.
