MeeSeva services have been expanded to include issue of land market value certificates and marriage registration slot bookings.

The inclusions are part of its expanding suite of services and reinforces its position as a trusted gateway for Telangana citizens, IT and Industries Minister D.Sridhar Babu’s office said on Monday in a release on a review meeting he chaired on the platform’s performance.

The Minister directed officials to introduce innovative, citizen-friendly services designed to enhance convenience, transparency and efficiency.

The market value service enables users to obtain land or apartment valuations by either visiting a MeeSeva centre or using the online portal and providing necessary information. Their application will be forwarded to the Sub‑Registrar Office concerned, which will issue approvals within 24 hours. Following the approval, the certificate will available for print.

For marriage registration, online application, prescribed fee and essential documents should be submitted. Three witnesses need to sign both the online form and the registrar’s physical register. The application signed by the couple or their guardians can be presented in person at the Sub‑Registrar Office concerned. Once processed, the certificate will be issued by SRO eliminating the need to revisit the MeeSeva centre.

By streamlining backend workflows, approving market value certificates within a day and facilitating marriage registrations, MeeSeva intends to benefit citizens, the construction sector and families alike. The inclusions aligns with Telangana’s broader digital governance vision, the Minister’s office said.
