(File photo) The Kerala government on Wednesday announced the allocation of portfolios in the newly formed cabinet, with Chief Minister VD Satheesan keeping several major departments, including Finance, Law, General Administration and Ports.
According to a notification issued by Kerala Lok Bhavan, Satheesan will oversee a total of 35 departments, giving the chief minister direct control over several key administrative and policy matters in the state government.
Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala has been given charge of the crucial Home and Vigilance departments.
