Hyderabad cops caught red-handed taking Rs 30,000 bribe for bail favours

• Two police personnel attached to Bowenpally Police Station in Hyderabad were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly demanding and accepting a 30,000 bribe from a complainant in exchange for official favours.
• According to an ACB press note, Sub-Inspector M Kiran Nandita and Police Constable B Vijay Kumar were trapped by the ACB team at around 4 pm on May 20 while accepting the bribe amount.
