Nellore Collector Himanshu Shukla on Sunday inaugurated a vented bridge on the Mulumudi spillway, solving a four-decade-long connectivity issue for the residents. The bridge, constructed at a cost of ₹83 lakh, was unveiled in the presence of MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and TDP State spokesperson Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy.
Speaking at the event, the legislator said that the government was successful in keeping up it’s promise following the completion of construction of the bridge within six months as promised. The legislator also announced that the bridge over Pottepalem spillway would be completed and declared open in the next two months.
The Collector announced that any pending issue brought to his notice would be cleared immediately and positively completed. Meanwhile, the MLA and his family members
took part in the ongoing Rottela Panduga at Barashaheed Dargah, offering bread at the dargah.
