Pondicherry University Vice-Chancellor P. Prakash Babu on Thursday called on Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan in New Delhi. The University in a release said Mr. Babu paid a courtesy call on the Vice-President, who is also the Chancellor of the Pondicherry University, and briefed him about the ongoing academic activities. The Vice-Chancellor held discussions with the Vice-President on the forthcoming convocation of the university. The discussions also focused on the expansion plans of the institution, introduction of innovative student- centric courses, infrastructure development and strengthening the position of the University as a Centre of Excellence in the higher education sector, the release said.
