Synopsis The Centre has announced significant support for families affected by the Vizag Steel Plant accident. Ex gratia compensation of Rs 25 lakh will be given to each deceased worker's family.

Permanent employment will be provided to one family member. Injured workers will receive Rs 10 lakh for severe injuries. The government assures commitment to employee

welfare and plant revival.
