Nepal Army rescue operations are underway in Trishuli after sudden flash floods struck the region. The Army says 418 Nepalese nationals, including 173 women and 245 men, along with 42 Chinese nationals, have been rescued since 16:45 hours. Among those rescued was Ganesh Thakur from Bihar’s Motihari, who was stranded in Trishuli with seven family members.
Thakur said they barely survived the massive storm and thanked the Nepal government and Nepal Army for the rescue operation.
