West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Monday said that out of the 2.3 lakh people who applied for citizenship under the amended citizenship law (CAA) in the state, 23,000 (or 10 percent) have been issued citizenship certificates so far, and asserted that the hearing of applications will be completed soon.
