Vande Bharat made a historic run on August 20, travelling at nearly 100 kmph across the world’s highest railway bridge — the Chenab Bridge in Jammu and Kashmir. The maximum permissible speed on the Mata Vaishno Devi Katra–Sangaldan section was earlier 85 kmph.
