The student protest in Jharkhand is set to intensify on Monday, with protesters planning to gherao the Vidhan Sabha in Ranchi at 10 am over their demands for the cancellation of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination and a CBI probe into alleged irregularities. Ahead of the planned protest, the administration has imposed prohibitory orders around the new Assembly building and deployed around 1,500 security personnel in the area.
