• The accident took place near Dhaniwari village in Dahanu taluka around 4 pm when the Eicher tempo, packed with more than 50 passengers, was on its way to an engagement ceremony in a nearby village.
• The vehicle was carrying guests for the function of one Balaram Jairam Dandekar from Bapugaon Khadkipada village.
