Laura Loomer, an ally of US President Donald Trump and a MAGA influencer, has visited Ukraine, where she was granted extensive access to the destruction caused by the war. For years, Loomer has been a prominent critic of US assistance to Ukraine, at times labelling the country a "Nazi state".
But after visiting the country she said she had fallen for some "Russian propaganda" and offered an apology to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. It comes as the White House says Trump has held “positive and productive” meetings with both Zelensky and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in separate behind-closed-doors meetings.
